Public education is under attack at all levels across the state.

The Solidarity and Community Coalition Committee invites members of the UWM
branch of the AAUP to participate in an effort to celebrate and protect our public
schools in Milwaukee.

Across the city, members of the community will attend “walk-ins” at public schools
on the morning of Friday September 18.  Find a school near you, sign up to walk in,
and show up in your best AAUP t-shirt!

If you can’t make it out on Friday morning, but still want to join the fight for strong
public schools, Schools and Communities United will have a general meeting on
Monday 21 September at 5pm (location TBA).
